It's been 7 months since I published the first post on this blog. Time to reflect.
When I started, I wasn't sure if I had enough to write about or whether anyone would find it useful. Looking back at what's been published — from the first jQuery plugin roundup to the slideshow plugin series — I'm genuinely happy with the result.
Traffic & Growth:
- Visitor numbers have grown steadily each month
- The slideshow and tab slider posts attract the most traffic
- Comments have been consistently constructive — thank you for that!
What I've learned from running a technical blog:
- Writing about something forces you to understand it more deeply
- Readers will find edge cases you never considered
- Keeping posts focused and practical resonates better than theory-heavy content
- Regular updates matter — even short posts keep readers coming back
What's next:
I plan to continue covering JavaScript plugins, techniques, and tools. There are several plugins I've been working on that I'll publish over the coming months. I also want to cover more Mootools and Prototype content, not just jQuery.
Thank you to everyone who reads, comments, and links to this blog. It means a lot!
